		<description>The Berrill Family
The 1901 census records show that 2 ancestors, maiden aunts, Mary Louisa Berrill and Frances Berrill were living in Duck End Lane, Maulden. We know that Mary died in Bournemouth in 1921, and that Frances died in Salisbury in 1924, but do not know how much longer, after 1901, that they lived in Maulden. Can anyone provide information on their lives in Maulden? Is it possible to discover which house exactly that they lived in, in Duck End Lane? and if the house still exists? Both sisters had lived previously in their parents home on Ampthill Road.

		<description>The Berrill Family.
I am grateful to the Maulden History Society for identifying the house which appeared in an old photo in an album held by my family. The only clue I previously had was the pencilled inscription “Maulden” on the back of the photo. As a result of this confirmation, I have been able to identify, with a reasonable degree of certainty, the 4 people in the photo. These were ancestors that we previously had no photographs of, so I am doubly appreciative for the help that has enabled these to be added to our family history archive.
The photo is posted on FLICKR at : http://www.flickr.com/photos/9501502@N05/sets/72157624950506989/ and I would welcome any comments about the photo or the building. Through the marvels of Google’s Street View I have been able to get glimpses of the building as it is today.
